Philanthropic Overview
With 300,000 schools teaching 50 million students, Indonesia’s education landscape is simply too large for individual philanthropists to make a significant difference at the national level. If successful interventions are to be scaled up then collaboration is key.
Our research shows that 64 percent of philanthropists in Indonesia’s education sector feel their coordination with their peers could be improved, and the same number want to improve their partnerships with different stakeholders.
With that in mind we have compiled this simple list of philanthropic organisations active in a variety of programme areas, in the hope that it will help facilitate greater collaboration to benefit Indonesia’s next generation.
